The Leather Company, formerly Leather Limited, started in 1977 as a small leather goods store at craft fairs in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area. Founded on the values of hard work, excellent customer service, and quality products The Leather Company eventually grew to be the second largest chain of leather stores in America, with over 80 stores across the country.

No matter how large or how small The Leather Company has been, the company has remained  headquartered in Toledo - providing jobs, community, and quality leather goods to Toledo-ins for over 45 years. While you can no longer find us where we originally started at Southwyk mall, we look forward to welcoming you with our small business hospitality and top-of-the-line leather products at our hometown store in the Franklin Park Mall.
